Working under the Finance Manager and within a small team you will be responsible for ensuring all regular tasks of finance and payroll are completed in a timely manner.Ideally you will have AAT Level 4, ACCA, or significant experience with a strong understanding of Xero accounting system and SAGE payroll and a strong working knowledge of payroll and auto enrolment pension systems. Experience with ApprovalMax and Xero Analytics will be an advantage.As the Senior Assistant you will be skilled in leading others and working as part of a wider team, hold good analytical and system interrogation skills and be able to work accurately and confidentially with strong attention to detail. An ability to manage a varied workload within required timescales is essential.It is important to us that you, along with all staff, have an open mind with a respectful, non-judgemental and non-discriminatory approach, working together and treating each other with kindness, respect and individuality 

    This position is based at our Admin office in Lydbrook GL17 9PD. You will also need to hold a full driving licence and have business insurance as you will be expected to make regular visits to our sites across the Forest of Dean.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Support Worker to support our clients at our residential home in COLEFORD, Forest of Dean.

We provide daily support within our homes for people with learning and/or physical disabilities. A full training package is provided, that includes The Care Certificate, along with the opportunity to progress to HSC Diploma 3 should you wish to progress your career.

We are based in the Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire with locations in Coleford, Lydbrook, Lydney and Ruardean.

Salary:

  • £12.95 – 13.27 per hour 
  • £29 per night – waking night enhancement
  • £15 for a 7.5 hour bank holiday shift.
  • Equivalent of the minimum wage per hour for sleep in duties.

Required at all services.  £12.95 per hour, in addition you will receive a payment of £1.56 per hour (equivalent to 12.07% of your hourly rate) as payment for holiday under the Working Time Regulations 1998.

Under 18’s £10.35 per hour, in addition you will receive a payment of £1.25 per hour (equivalent to 12.07% of your hourly rate) as payment for holiday under the Working Time Regulations 1998.
