The Orchard Trust’s Day Service Centre is fully resourced and equipped to offer a high quality day service activities and therapeutic facilities in a beautiful rural location in the Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire.

Day services
Everyone has the chance to partake in the full range of social activities at our fully accessible site.
Hydrotherapy
The Swim Gym consists of a Swim Spa pool and jacuzzi, which are used for therapy, exercise and relaxation.
Rebound Trampoline Room
Rebound therapy, is the use of a trampoline to facilitate movement, it promotes balance, an increase or decrease in muscle tone, promotes relaxation and sensory integration.
Sensory Room
The Sensory Room is a specially designed room which combines a range of stimuli to help individuals develop and engage their senses.
Farm Placements
At Orchard Trust, we offer a Supported Farm Placements Programme: specialised Animal Care and Gardening Placements based at our Stowfield smallholding.
Our placements are designed to provide adults with learning or physical disabilities more than just a day outdoors. By working across the Trust’s smallholding and allotment, participants are given a safe, supportive environment to learn tangible life skills, increase their independence, and achieve personal milestones.
Events
The Day Services site hold lots of events throughout the year, including coffee mornings, film shows, summer fair and an accessible music fesitival.
Gentle Sensory Country Walk
As part of the Forest of Dean Action Alliance the Orchard Trust are hosting guided walks around their Stowfield smallholding on the last Thursday of every month.
