Summer Fair
The Summer Fair is an important date in the Orchard Trust calendar. It is a chance for the local community to visit our site, see the smallholding animals and have some fun and games, all with music and refreshments!
Whether the event is online or a public event, it is an important way for the Trust to share the good work that it does, raise some funds and of course have some fun.

OrchardFest
OrchardFest is our accessible music festival, designed especially for people with learning disabilities.
Live music, food vans, a bar, walkabout entertainment, and much more!
Saturday 15th August, 2pm – 10.15pm at the Orchard Trust Smallholding (Upper Stowfield, Lower Lydbrook, Gloucestershire GL17 9PD).

Join us at a Coffee Morning
Come and join us at our Day Service site (GL17 9PD) for cake and drinks. A great chance to relax and enjoy the beautiful Stowfield site, why not take the opportunity to visit our friendly smallholding animals or even have a go on our fully accessible playground.
Join us at a film show
Come and join us at our Day Service site (GL17 9PD) for themed family film. A great chance to relax and enjoy the beautiful Stowfield site, during the summer we plan to have the film showing outdoors but we also have our Lodge as a wet weather backup.
The film show is free to enter and popcorn and refreshments are available to buy.
The Big Give
At Christmas time we raise money through the Big Give Christmas Challenge, where donors can have their donation doubled.
2025 -We raised £11,805 to refurbish our Activity Centre. At the centre people with disabilities take part in activities, make friends, socialise and have fun, improving physical and mental wellbeing and living life to the full.
2024 we raised £7,278 for our Engage the Senses project, creating inclusive and relaxing outdoor spaces for disabled clients, carers and families to enjoy sensory experiences and socialise in nature.
2023 we raised £11,284 for a year of accessible events and activities for disabled people and their carers.
2022 we raised £10,000 to build an accessible Wildlife Pond for people’s wellbeing and to support biodiversity.
2021 we raised over £10,000 to build a new Hydrotherapy Pool at our Day Service site
In 2020 we raised £5,500 for clients to go on exciting Day Trips
