Welcome Pack

• When you sponsor our animals your recipient will receive a personalised sponsorship certificate and a gift card which can be personalised or left blank for your own message.
• Your recipient will also receive an interesting fact sheet about your chosen animals.

Journey length and updates

• Your sponsorship journey lasts 1 year, during which your recipient will receive 4 communications about your animal and our work.
• Unless you specify an occasion date the sponsorship will run for 1 year from the date of purchase.
• We aim to post your recipients certificate and card within 1 week of receiving your order, it will be sent out by Royal Mail 2nd class.
• We can only post to addresses with a UK postcode (excluding Northern Ireland) the cost of postage is included in the sponsorship cost.
• If you want to sponsor an animal from outside the UK you can have a digital certificate and gift card emailed to you to print yourself or you can pay additional postage for the pack to be sent to your recipient. Please contact fundraising@orchard-trust.org.uk
• The welcome pack is a personalised product so is non-refundable, non-exchangeable and not for resale. If the pack arrives damaged or is faulty please let us know and we will send replacement items.
• Sponsorship is for the type of animal rather than a specific animal and you will be sponsoring a share in that group of animals with multiple other sponsors.
• You or your recipient can visit our smallholding site to see the animals you support, please contact dayservice@orchard-trust.org.uk to arrange a date and time.

Payment

• You can choose to sponsor your chosen animals with a one off donation or via a direct debit from the order page.
• If you choose to set up a direct debit please be aware there will be no end date, your monthly donation will continue after the initial 1 year until you cancel it.
• Part of your payment is used to pay for the welcome pack, the rest is a freely given donation.
• Your donation will be used where need is greatest, including helping to support your animal, animal care costs, any or all of Orchard Trust’ charitable support services and costs needed to support the effective running of the Stowfield Smallholding site and the Day Service operating on that site.

Rollover

• If you paid a one-off sponsorship, we will advise how you can sign up again for the same or a different animal when you get your last update.
• If you pay by direct debit, this will continue automatically with the same animal unless you request to cancel the sponsorship or contact us to change the animal.
