Sponsor a Pig

Sponsor the Pigs for the joys of looking after an animal

Our clients love to interact with the pigs, helping with their food and making sure they are kept healthy and happy. It is important for clients, who are themselves cared for every day, to feel a sense of purpose when caring for the pigs.

Our two KuneKune pigs – Rosie (black/white) and Peaches (black/ginger) – are small, friendly, hairy little pigs who are incredibly popular with all our visitors. They are intelligent and affectionate, enjoying human interaction and caring. They love spending time with clients and visitors throughout the day relaxing and playing.

Both pigs are pedigree, BKKPS (British Kune Kune Pig Society) registered. They live in our pig field with a covered pigsty to sleep in, plenty of grass to root around in, space to roam around and, of course, a muddy wallow which they love in the Summertime. They love to be around people and are always keen to say hello when someone appears.

If you are still looking for a special present, then why not sponsor our friendly mini pigs!

Our Orchard Trust site is home to a variety of farm animals, and sponsoring our mini pigs can help us offer a space for everyone in the community to engage with these beautiful animals.

With your mini pig sponsorship, you will receive:

• A beautiful colour card featuring the pigs
• A sponsorship certificate for your animal sponsorship
• Four updates a year about your chosen animals and our work

You can regularly visit our smallholding in the Forest of Dean to meet, feed and pet your new perfect piggy pals.

Together, we can keep those special connections going.
